Anthony David Gonzalez played American football for 17 seasons as a tight-end in the National Football League. One of America's top tight ends ever and holds the NFL record for the most receiving yards of all tight ends. He also ranks third all-time in the number of receiving yards.

Tony Gonzalez, former All-Pro tight-end for the Kansas City Chiefs as well as the Atlanta Falcons, is currently working at the studio of FOX. Gonzalez has been a regular guest show on FOX NFL KICKOFF since the start of the NFL's season in 2017. The pregame program, lasting an hour, is a precursor to FOX NFL Sunday on Sundays, at 11 AM ET during the NFL Season.
Gonzalez was released by the Falcons on March 15, 2013, for a deal that was worth 14 million dollars over two years. This was even though he claimed that he was going to retire after the season. Randy Moss announced his retirement in 2012, in 2012, and Gonzalez (37 year old) was the one of the NFL's top receivers.
